RIMINI PORTO SICURO

Sea and music were the essence of Rimini Porto Sicuro, the event organized by the Municipality of Rimini in collaboration with the Arcobaleno Association held on  June 20 2019, with the exhibition of important italian artists, who dedicate music and lyrics to the journey of migrants. The initiative was part of the “International Refugee Day”, launched by the United Nations to commemorate the approval in 1951 of the Convention relating to the status of refugees. The songwriters, musicians, artists who took turns on the stage set up a few steps from the pier, to launch their message of openness and solidarity, were: the Modena City Ramblers, followed by the rock of Pierpaolo Capovilla, Paolo Benvegnù and Nicholas Ciuferri who gave life to the project “I racconti delle nebbie”. And again O Zulù, frontman of the 99 Posse, up to the punk of Punkreas, to the intimate songwriting of Giulio Casale. The program was closed by La Crus and Marlene Kuntz, two bands from the Italian music scene.
